Errol Musk, the father of Elon Musk, has stated that China is attempting to recruit the billionaire’s 7-year-old half-brother, Elliot Rush, to participate in a gaming tournament, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
Elliot Rush, one of Errol Musk’s two youngest children, is the son of Errol and his former stepdaughter, Jana Bezuidenhout, who is now his girlfriend. Jana, the daughter of Errol’s second wife, Heide Bezuidenhout, was raised by Errol from the age of four. The couple had a child together when Jana turned 30, a relationship that sparked significant controversy.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Errol Musk revealed his surprising claim about Rush, stating that China is trying to recruit him for a gaming competition. As part of this, Errol had a Chinese businessman stay as a guest at his South African ranch.
“They say he will be the biggest thing in China. They say he’s a prolific gamer and he’s a champion,” Errol told the Daily Mail. He didn’t appear particularly worried about the fact that China is regarded as the United States’ most formidable rival.
