China has started preparing for its invasion of Taiwan, with one of the first signs being the deployment of Chinese soldiers disguised as “volunteers” on the Pokrovsk front in Donbas, Ukraine. These troops are gaining firsthand combat experience in real-world conditions, signaling that China is testing its military forces ahead of a potential conflict with Taiwan.
The most concerning aspect of this situation is that a war with Taiwan could grant Xi Jinping the opportunity to openly supply Russia with advanced weaponry for its ongoing war in Ukraine.
Should China invade Taiwan, it would essentially declare itself a global superpower, free to act without restraint.
